Method

The score is a position, not a color.

Zero means the member holds the line with conservative grassroots. One hundred means the member votes or stands with the establishment bloc. Insufficient evidence is recorded as not rated. We do not invent a percentage to fill a blank.

What is live now

The first published ledger is a single alignment event: the Sept. 13, 2026 pile-on against Bo French, Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commission. Names, offices, quotes, and post URLs come from the public-post census taken that week. House and Senate roll-call indexes are not computed yet. Those pages say so.

What is not scored

Campaign money is off this ledger. University branding is off this ledger. A condemn on X is not a House vote. A silent statewide officer is recorded as silent, not as a hidden score.
